01 / Technology

Three strengths. One power architecture.

Low-voltage GaN, monolithic GaN integration and advanced 3D packaging converge toward Vertical Power Delivery.

Low Voltage GaN

Low Voltage GaN

Pioneering Low-Voltage GaN Technology

While the industry largely focused on high-voltage GaN, Lucid recognized the potential of low-voltage GaN early and began development ahead of the market. Backed by in-house TCAD design capabilities, Lucid has built deep expertise in GaN device design and optimization, establishing a strong technology foundation for high-performance power delivery.

Monolithic GaN Integration

Monolithic GaN Integration

Power Density Through Monolithic Integration

Built on a GaN-on-Silicon process, Lucid’s monolithic integration technology integrates GaN power devices, gate drivers, and control functions on a single GaN platform, delivering the high power density, high efficiency, and fast dynamic response required for next-generation AI power delivery.

Advanced 3D Packaging

Advanced 3D Packaging

Ultra-Low Profile, Closer to the AI Processor

Lucid’s advanced 3D packaging technology integrates power devices, gate drivers, and passive components into an ultra-compact package. By minimizing package height and interconnect length, it enables lower parasitics, higher power density, and more efficient power delivery close to the AI processor.

Vertical Power Delivery Power Stage

Bringing power closer to the processor.

By combining low-voltage GaN, monolithic GaN integration, and advanced 3D packaging, Lucid is developing vertical power delivery power stage that enables voltage regulators to be vertically integrated on the back side of GPUs and CPUs. By bringing power conversion closer to the processor, this architecture shortens the power delivery path and enables higher-density, more efficient power delivery for next-generation AI processors.

02 / Rack-to-Core

From the AI rack to the compute core.

The roadmap places power conversion, intermediate-bus delivery, the Smart Power Stage and Vertical Power Delivery Power Stage in one sequence. Nexo and NexGaN explain the architectures closer to the processor.
